A dust collector is a system used to enhance the quality of air released from industrial and commercial processes by collecting dust and other impurities from air or gas. Designed to handle high-volume dust loads, a dust collector system consists of a blower, dust filter, a filter-cleaning system, and a dust receptacle or dust removal system. It is distinguished from air cleaners, which use disposable filters to remove dust.

Dust collectors are used in many processes to either recover valuable granular solid or powder from process streams, or to remove granular solid pollutants from exhaust gases prior to venting to the atmosphere. Dust collection is an online process for collecting any process-generated dust from the source point on a continuous basis. Dust collectors may be of single unit construction, or a collection of devices used to separate particulate matter from the process air. They are often used as an air pollution control device to maintain or improve air quality.

Mist collectors remove particulate matter in the form of fine liquid droplets from the air. They are often used for the collection of metal working fluids, and coolant or oil mists. Mist collectors are often used to improve or maintain the quality of air in the workplace environment.

Fume and smoke collectors are used to remove sub-micrometer-size particulates from the air. They effectively reduce or eliminate particulate matter and gas streams from many industrial processes such as welding, rubber and plastic processing, high speed machining with coolants, tempering, and quenching.

We have a strong marketing set-up at our office, with qualified and experienced Engineers to attend customer’s enquiries. Apart from this, we have representatives in Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad. We also have a committed after-sales service team to follow-up complaints.
The staff and workers include qualified Engineers, Technicians & Foremen who are thoroughly experienced & competent. Most of them have over ten years experience in this field, and some of them, over twenty. Due to this, the company has been able to successfully design, manufacture, install and commission systems which work successfully, resulting in several repeat orders. Needless to say, we have established a niche for ourselves in this field.

THE PROMOTERS
RPS Industries has been founded by two partners, Mr. PONNUSWAMY, and Mr. SHIVAKUMAR, They have been in this field for over 15 years, and have by their enterprising nature, built up the company business step by step, resulting in the excellent turnover it has today. All three are very well known in the city, as prominent industrialists in this field, and are particularly synonymous with kitchen exhaust. It may also be noted that we have an excellent rapport with all the leading engineering consultants, several architects, key figures in reputed public & private sector firms, besides prominent people in the hotel industry.(specifically, manufacturer of commercial kitchen cooking equipment).
We have successfully installed our systems at most of the leading Hotels, Resorts, Clubs, Kalyanamantapas, Canteen of public & private sectors, catering services, prestigious temples and some institutions in and around South India, as can be seen in the annexure.
