| The universal metroscope is a metrological instrument for direct and differential measurements. It has high accuracy because it exactly adopts the Abbe Comparator principle and uses a high-precision measuring system. This instrument is mainly used in metal-working industry, especially the inspecting departments of machine building, tool making, in the manufacture of gauges and measuring instruments. Its measuring parts are as follows: a. Smooth cylindrical work pieces such as axis, hole, gauge and ring gauge. b. The pitch diameter of internal thread, thread gauge and thread ring gauge. c.
