Pneumatically operated electrode pressure head mechanism to ensure consistant electrode force despite electrode wear.

Accurately machined electrode guiding system to ensure proper electrode alignment and with facility to compensate for wear.

Variable speed electrode drive mechanism with stepless speed adjustment.
