Water Softener For Distillation Unit ( Water Distillation)

Water Softener works on the Ion Exchange principle, and is used along with Quartz or Glass distillers. The Water Softener (Product CODE: DUWS) prevents the accumulation of sludge (i.e.deposits of Calcium and Magnesium salts that make the water hard) & Iron related hardness will prevent by product CODE : DUFE .Tap water / borewell water is introduced through the inlet and softened water is drawn at the outlet. The softened water is sent into the Boiler of the Distillation Unit. The Unit can be recharged again with a saturated solution of Sodium Chloride. The output is based on 100 ppm input hardness as CaCo3.During regeneration, 10 litres of sodium chloride solution is passed through the Water Softener gradually, for 1 hour.The Feed water to Distilled water plant should be less than 60ppm of TDS. In most cases, the TDS will be around 400ppm. Hence, we recommend you to use the Water Softener after testing TDS in your laboratory
