This is a good story. USA Pans are, as the name implies, baking pans made right here in the United States, by the world's largest manufacturer of commercial bakeware, the American Pan Company. In today's world of global manfacturing, that is unusual enough, but there's more. USA Pans are made like no other, in ways that make this bakeware uniquely practical, convenient and durable.
USA Pans are made of a blend of 65% recycled steel and 35% aluminum. This means they conduct heat very evenly and efficiently (aluminum) and they are extremely strong and rigid (steel). It's the best of both worlds. This aluminized steel is formed into pans with an all-over rippled, or corrugated, surface, that allows exceptional air circulation for even baking and browning. The edges of the pans are rolled over steel wire for unsurpassed rigidity.
