Valve Spring

A valve spring is one of the most demanding springs on account of the high dynamic loads it must withstand while at the same time maintaining its durability facing high numbers of stress cycles. For years, Mubea has been a global partner for the development of valve springs. Over the decades, together with our customers, we have developed and brought to series production numerous technological innovations. Besides offering relatively simple spring designs, we have often had the opportunity to demonstrate our technical expertise or to follow new paths in finding a technical solution. Otto engines with cut-off points beyond 7000 or even 9000 Umin represent a substantial challenge regarding design, materials and manufacture of a valve spring.
