Vapor Barrier Coating

TUFFCOAT 30-80 is a special polymer based fire resistant, flexible coating. It is specially formulated for use over most type of thermal insulation, both interior and exterior.

USES:

TUFFCOAT 30-80 is used for sealing and fitting, piping, vessel ducts and equipment operating at below ambient temperatures. TUFFCOAT 30-80 exhibits excellent adhesion on mineral wool, glass fiber and polyurethane foam. It is safe in all environments because it is water based and it provides seamless liquid membrane.

APPLICATION:

The surface must be clean and free of any dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose particles.

Apply an even coat of TUFFCOAT 30-80 by brush or spray. It should spread out equally on surface. Once the initial coat dries, apply finish coat by brush or spray.

Available in 20 lit. plastic bucket.

2 Sq.M app. @ 650 micron

STORAGE:

When stored in original, unopened container the average life is 12 to 14 months at 20ºC to 30ºC.

HEALTH AND SAFETY INSTRUCTION:

Caution should be always exercised with all the construction chemicals. Gloves and goggles must be worn while using these chemicals. Any splashes to the eyes or skin should immediately be treated with fresh water. Should any of the products be accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting and call for medical help immediately.
