Short-Form Specification of 25mm ultimate Venetian Blind Lightlines Componentry System

• The HEADRAIL shall measure 25mm wide and 19mm deep, roll-formed, pre-coated 0.5mm electro-galvanized steel in thermo-setting polyester coating over a chromatic primer.
• The BOTTOMRAIL shall measure 22.5mm wide and 10mm deep, roll-formed, pre-coated 0.5mm electro-galvanized steel finished in thermosetting polyester coating over a chromatic primer, to a lock seamed 'D' shaped section.
• The SLATS shall be made from high tensile alu. alloy AA 6011, 25mm wide and 0.175mm thick. The crowned slats shall withstand bending through 1800 over a mandrel of radius 12.5mm without incurring permanent deformation.
• The paint formulation will be of a thermosetting polyester coating over a chromate conversion coating with color conforming to ASTM D2244 standards. The paint thickness shall be 12 ± 2 micron.
• The TILT ROD shall be a hot dipped galvanized 'D' section steel wire of 2mm radius & measuring 3mm across the flat side.
• The STRING TAPE shall be two - ply spaced ladder construction each rung comprising two strands spaced 2.5mm apart and woven from polyester fiber.
• The CORD LOCK shall be manufactured from poly-carbonate incorporating a stainless steel wear plate & brass rollers for durable performance. The mechanism to be provided in delight option of Lightlines® system of HunterDouglas venetian blinds or equivalent system.
