This is used for artificial respiration. It is specifically designed for those patients who cannot breathe due to medical conditions. It is called a life support system as it makes a person breathe artificially. There are three types of ventilators available with Biomedical Healthcare limited. They are:-

VENTILATOR WITH 10.4” SCREEN

The source of gas is oxygen.
The pressure is 280KPa-600KPa
Voltage of 100V-250V is required. Frequency 50Hz/60Hz.
Ventilation mode- IPPV, A/C, SIMC, SPONT, CPAP.

VENTILATOR WITH AIR COMPRESSOR

The source of gas is oxygen
The pressure is 280KPa-600KPa
Voltage of 250-22V is required.
Ventilation mode- IPPV, A/C, SIMC, SPONT, CPAP, PS

PORTABLE VENTILATOR SYSTEM- THIS IS USED IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS OR IN AMBULANCES.

There are 3 power sources AC, DC and a battery back-up of 8 hours.
Oxygen supply can be from wall or from portable gas cylinder.
The modes it can be used in are CMV, A/C, SPONT and SIMV.
