Overview of Vibrating Screen

Application of Vibrating ScreenVibrating screens are efficient screening machines for the classification of bulk material such as coal, minerals, coke etc. It is designed for especially screening stone stock of quarry, and also for classifying and screening products of such departments as coal separator, mineral processing, building materials, electricity and chemical industry, cement production line, water conservancy and hydropower, transportation, smelting and so on.
Structure of Vibrating ScreenVibrating screens are designed to make separation filtration of crushed material from fine dust to oversize. The vibrating screen consists of screen box, supporting device, vibration exciter, transmission part, etc. The screen frame, a bolted & welded steel structure, accommodates the screen mesh & the drive unit. The screen is designed by the assembly of an eccentric shaft, made out of alloy steel & two no. of heavy duty double spherical bearings with dust & water tight seals, for efficient operation & low maintenance. The angle of the throw screening action is adjusted with such design that it provides the same vibration to all parts of the screen in order to obtain proper filtration screening of crushed material of different sizes simultaneously while separating oversized product.
Working principle of Vibrating Screen
The barrel-type vibration exciter is installed in the middle part of the machine. During normal operation, the vibration of exciter will drive the screen mesh fixed on the screen box vibrate, and then materials will be screened. The big and small materials fall from the upper side and lower side of the screen to get them separated.
