Contact SupplierProduct Description
The vibration transmitter used to measure absolute vibrations of rotating machine supports. It is a two-wire, loop-powered (24 V DC) device that converts mechanical vibration into a standard 4–20 mA signal suitable for integration into PLCs, DCS, or vibration monitoring systems. The unit is intended for continuous on-line monitoring of machinery condition (bearing wear, imbalance, looseness, etc.) by providing a proportional current output representing the vibration level measured at the mounting point.
Key Features• Loop-powered two-wire operation (24 V DC supply; 4–20 mA output) for simple wiring and long cable runs.
• Compact, rugged industrial housing designed for direct mounting on machine supports.
• Provides absolute vibration measurement at the mounting location — useful for local machine condition monitoring.
• Compatible with standard acquisition systems (PLCs, DCS, SCADA) that accept 4–20 mA signals.
• Low-maintenance — no local power supply or frequent calibration required for basic monitoring (confirm calibration interval with vendor).
• Minimal wiring: power and signal share the same two conductors (simplifies retrofit installations).
• Continuous condition monitoring of rotating machinery: motors, pumps, fans, compressors, gearboxes.
• Early detection of bearing failures, imbalance, misalignment, looseness, and resonance at machine supports.
• Integration into plant control and safety systems via PLC / DCS 4–20 mA inputs for alarm thresholds and trending.
• Retrofit monitoring where simplicity and low wiring complexity are required.
• Remote or distributed monitoring networks where loop power and standardized outputs reduce infrastructure needs.
