Occlunix Muscular VSD Occluder is a self-expandable, double-disc device made from a quality nitinol wire mesh. The two discs are linked together by a cylindrical waist corresponding to the size of the VSD. In order to increase the closing ability, the discs and waist are sewn with three pieces of polyester fabric. The device is specifically designed with 7 mm waist length to accommodate the muscular septal wall. Muscular VSD Occluder can be implanted either by venous or arterial catheter technique.
