1. Sbr is abbreviation of sequencing batch reactor activated sludge process. It is a kind of activated sludge waste water treatment technology with intermittence aeration.
2. Cass is abbreviation of cyclic activated sludge system, also called cast (cyclic activated sludge technology). It is developed based on sbr, ie. Adding a biological selector at water inlet of sbr tank to achieve continuous inflow (even in sedimentation period and drainage period) and intermittent drainage.
3.uasb (up flow anaerobic sludge blanket) reactor is a high speed anaerobic reactor applied most widely at present, and the technology has been the main trend of anaerobic process.
4. Conventional activated sludge technology, is also called general activated sludge technology or plug flow activated sludge technology. It is the earliest technology applied successfully, and other activated sludge technologies were developed base on it.
5. Biological contact oxidation technology, is a typical biological film technology, but also with activated sludge process treatment mechanism.
