We are Noida based Manufacturer and Supplier of Water Demineralization Plants, which comprise Two Bed DM Plants and Mixed Bed DM Plants. Our Water Demineralization Plant comes with Weak Base & Strong Base Cation & Anion Exchanger. The Cation & Anion Exchanger, which we offer, is available with Degasification System to physically eradicate alkalinity without the use of chemicals (Saves NaOH), and also helps in diminishing the load on Anion Unit. These Water Demineralization Plants have standard FRP/ Mild Steel rubber lining and SS 316L (Quarts Lined) construction. The Water Demineralization Plant, which we offer, uses an advanced Demineralization or Deionisation process, which is based on caustic regenerated anion resin and acid regenerated action resin to remove the minerals from water. We make available Water Demineralization Plants in diverse sizes depending on the needs of the clients. The design of our Water Demineralization Plant endeavors to save cost and conserve water. These Water Demineralization Plants are available as manually operated or fully automatic deepending upon the needs of the clients. Highlights

  • Using the ion exchange process, it removes mineral salts from water
  • In the Two Bed Water Demineralization Plant, Strong Base Anion Exchanger and a Powerful Acid Cation Exchanger are put to use for reducing the total dissolved solids up to 2-5 ppm. We provide an outlet- conductivity meter, to check the quality of the treated water.
  • Mixed Bed Units are used in series with Two Bed DM Plant as a polisher unit which can produce treated water having conductivity < 1 mS/cm.
  • We offer the Cation Polisher Unit used for achieving Acidic Water Quality for Specific applications.
  • DM Plant produces treated water, which has a conductivity less than 10 mS/cm (for Two Bed) and less than 1 mS/cm with pH as desired.
  • The Water Demineralization Plant has a capacity of 100 to 2, 00,000 liters per day, which depends on water property and the requirement for water.
Availability The Water Demineralization Plant is available in diverse sizes having cation and anion exchanger unit with 200 mm to 2000 mm diameter, which comes in either Valves or Multi Port Valve depending upon the sizes desired by the clients. A trolley mounted automatically operated Water Demineralization Plants are also available for small industries and laboratories. Operating Principle A Typical two-bed DM Plant consists of two FRP/MS rubber lined pressure vessels connected in series along with its internal fittings. The first unit consists of high capacity strongly acidic cation exchange resin, which converts positive ions of salt and replaces them with hydrogen ions to form respective acids, which are absorbed in next vessel by strongly basic anion exchange resin. The water obtained by this process shows conductivity less than 20 µ S / cm at 25o C and total dissolved solids less than 10 ppm. Further, highly purified water can be achieved by Mixed Bed Deionizers, which are specifically designed for the same purpose. They can be used as polishing units after Two Bed DM Plant to obtain high purity water. Mixed Bed Deionizers are single column units, filled with strongly acidic cation and strongly basic anion exchange resins mixed together. There are four distinct stages in the operation of Deionizers
  • Service : In the service cycle the water enters the vessel and passes through the resin bed of the respective exchanger
  • Backwashing : After the resins are exhausted, the bed is backwashed. Backwashing is carried out by a uniform upward flow of water through the resin bed. The backwash step expands the resin bed releasing any entrapped particulate matter & removes the channeling in the resin column, if occurred during the service cycle.
  • Regeneration : When the ion exchange resins lose all the exchangeable ions, they require regeneration to restore them back to hydrogen or hydroxyl form depending upon whether they are cation or anion resins. To achieve this 4 - 5% concentrated solution of Hydrochloric acid is used for cation resin and a 4% - 5% concentrated solution of caustic soda is used for anion resin. Sulphuric acid can also be used for Cation Regeneration but the concentration of acid during injection must be kept at minimum, such as to prevent calcium sulphate precipitation on the resin.
