Water Pumping Sets

Direct coupled and belt driven centrifugal pumps are single stage, radial flow end, suction type with horizontal shaft and vertically split casings. Pumps are fitted with pulleys or with flexible couplings, to be driven by electric motors or diesel engines. Direct coupled pumps are supplied with a common base plate

Salient Features of the Pump:

Casing :The volute type casing is scientifically designed to produce a smooth flow, with gradual changes in velocity, ensuring the efficiency of the pump. The casing is made of high grade, close-grained cast iron.

Impeller :The impeller is made of high grade, close-grained cast iron, accurately machined on the outside. The interior passages are hand-finished.
Supporting Frame : Robust and sturdy, it is designed to accommodate shaft and ball-bearings. A gunmetal sleeve provides rigid support for the pump.

Shaft : This is made of special shaft steel. Accurately machined, it is designed to transmit maximum power without vibration.
Bearing :Heavy-duty ball-bearings and sleeve-bearings are used to withstand radial/thrust load.

Rotation : The standard rotation of the pump is anti-clockwise when viewed from the driving end. This makes it suitable for direct coupling to the engine.
