WEBBINGS

Great American Weaving Corporation manufactures webbings using a variety of fibers. Our webbings are used in various applications and industries. Our variety of webbings include flat and tubular webbings ranging from 116" to 36" wide fabrics. Due to the fact that we are a custom weaver, we can weave these webbings to whatever width and thickness your application requires.
We weave many commercial webbings and military specification (MIL-SPEC) webbings. Our equipment includes narrow fabric shuttle looms and high speed needle looms. Our shuttle looms are used to create a webbing that minimizes failure due to abrasion. All military Class I webbing is woven on this equipment. This webbing is used for critical use applications because shuttle loom webbing minimizes failure by having two woven edges. The shuttle looms are also used to create a seamless tubular woven fabric.
One of the most popular industries that our fabrics are used in is the bearing industry. Both tubular and flat webbings may be used in this industry depending on the application.
Some of the most commonly used yarns in our webbings include Teflon®, Nomex® Kevlar®, polyester, nylon, polypropylene, monofilament, and cotton. The webbings are used in recreational, medical, safety, commercial, military, and industrial applications.
