The upper works is auxiliary equipment for leveling the load in the truck and is not part of the scale. These are provided with standard ASCII computer keyboard attached to the terminal for data entry. Further, these are also equipped with real time clock with battery back-up that helps in automatic recording of date, time-in and time-out. Since the weight of the vehicle carrying the goods is known, these are a quick and easy way to measure the flow of bulk goods in and out of different locations.
