Welfix- DFA (formaldehyde) For Dye Fixing Agent

Dyefixing Agent is a clear watery liquid and is stable under normal conditions of storage. It is completely miscible with warm water in all proportions. It is recommended to imrove the washing fastness of fabrics dyed or printed with direct and reactive dyes and washed, staining does not occur as complete removal of unfixed dye ;is not achieved unless several washings are carried. An after treatment with Dyefixing Agent prevents the staining of white protection of fabrics printed with reactive dyes.

Solubility               : Soluble in water in all proportions

Stability                : Stable under all normal condition of storage

Application :

1)  For Direct Dyes :

a) Batchwise Application :

    The fabric dyed with direct dyes should be treated on jigger in a bath containing 1-3 gpl Dyefixing

    Agent at 30 Deg celsius  for 10-15 minutes and dried

b) Continuous Application :

   The dyed fabrics is given an after treatment on a open soaper by paasingt the goods continuously for

   about 30 seconds in the penultimate box of the soaper at 30 deg celsius in a liquor containing 10-20         gpl of Dyefixing Agent.

2) For Reactive Dyes :

a) Batchwise : The fabric dyed and printed with reactive dyes are given an after treated on jigger in a bath containing 1-2 gpl  Dyefixing Agent at 30 deg. celsius for 10-15 mintes rinse and cold dried.

1) Continuous : An after treatment i s given for the fabrics dyed or printed with reactive dyes in the penulimate box of the soaper range at 30 deg. celsius in a liquor containing 5-10 gpl of Dyefixing Agent for about 30 seconds or it may be padded on the wet material immediately before drying. After Dyefixing Agent treatment, wash once in cold water and dry.
