Working principle of wet magnetic separator
after pulp flowing into the tank through the mine box, under the action of water in the spray pipe to the mine, mineral particles were loose state into the tank to feed mine. Under the magnetic field, the magnetic ore particles cause magnetic agglomeration and form "magnetic group" or "flux linkage ", "magnetic group" or "flux linkage " in the pulp by the magnetic force moves to the pole, and to be adsorbed on the cylindrical . Since the polarity of the magnetic poles along the cylinder rotation direction is alternately arranged and fixed at work,when the magnetic group "or" flux linkage " rotate with the cylinder ,as the magnetic poles alternating generated magnetic stirring, non-magnetic minerals such as gangue that are contained in the “magnetic group "or" flux will fall down ,eventually the “magnetic group "or" flux absorbed in the cylinder surface are fine ores. The fine ores with cylindrical go the weakest magnetic edge of the magnetic system, under the action of water spray flushing discharge water pipe from ,is unloaded into the concentrates tank. Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the pulp and discharged from tank, which are tailings.

The same one cylinder can be equipped with three kinds of tank, downstream slot (cts), counter-current slot (ctn) and half counter-current slot (ctd), in order to adapt to the different sorting requirements.
