The Linear Heat Sensing cable is a flexible, durable and cost-effective fixed-temperature fire detector, suitable for protecting a wide range of commercial and industrial fire applications.The Linear Heat Sensing Cable is designed to provide early detection of fire conditions and overheating in circumstances where other forms of detection would not be viable, either due to inability to sustain the environmental requirements or through prohibitive costs with wide variety of applications like open area protection, Cable Trays, Rack Storage, Belt Conveyors, Power Distribution Apparatus, Cooling Towers, Escalators, Freezer Warehouses and many other harsh environments

System Sensor Linear Heat Sensing Cable offers the complete solution by providing early detection of fire or overheating conditions by detecting changes in temperature with two different variants.

800 Conventional Series – Digital Linear Heat Sensing Cable. A "switching " cable where a change in state of internal insulation - caused by temperature rise to a pre-defined level - allows a short circuit or "hot junction" to occur between two twisted tin plated copper conductors.

900 Intelligent Series – Analogue Linear Heat Sensing Cable. A multi-conductor or co-axial cable which exerts a defined change in electrical resistance of internal polymers when subjected to changes in ambient/surface temperatures. System monitoring through an associated PC Modulator unit provides fault indication of open and short circuit conditions on the sensor cable.

Features of PC Modulator

• Comprises of signal process unit which consists of signal collection, amplification and conversion.
• Customizable pre – alarm and fire – alarm temperature thresholds.
• Capable of reliable fault monitoring regardless of open or short circuit.
• LED indicates normal system operation, faults, pre-alarm and fire- alarm status.
• Automatically reset after alarming.
