Product Overview

Dense soda ash is a white, odorless, uniform product, free from dirt and other foreign matter. Soda ash has a tendency to absorb moisture from the atmosphere. The moist soda ash then starts absorbing atmospheric carbon dioxide. This phenomenon of absorption of moisture and carbon dioxide is known as weathering. After weathering, soda ash is likely to contain appreciable moisture and sodium bicarbonate, though its total alkali content does not change. Soda ash, we offer light and dense, has a tendency to cake when it comes into contact with moisture and, consequently, becomes lumpy.

Application :

Water softening : Sodium carbonate is a very efficient source of alkalinity reserve and plays an important role in water softening. As a result it has been approved by many detergent producers in nil-phosphate containing formulations.
