Made from Forest Stewardship Council certified White Teak (Tectona grandis) is a highly sought after and valuable tropical hardwood due to its favorable physical properties, high natural durability. Teak timber has low shrinkage and medium density making it suitable for a wide range of purposes such as joinery, cabinet making, veneer, outdoor furniture and boat decking. They are well suited to areas where extra durability is required.

White Teak is renowned for being very stable with a fine and straight grain and an even texture. In addition it is lightweight and odorless. These properties have made it a favorite among wood carvers and this is reflected in the fact that it is ideal for special shape shutters and the production of louvers as it holds straight and true. White Teak looks great when having a sand blast finish as it gives more rustic deep grain look.
