Winch Drive

Winch Drive This range covers from 5.000 Nm to 400.000 Nm nominal torque. It comprises rotating case gearboxes designed to fit inside the winch drum. In order to ensure an isostatic distribution of the load on the winch, the gearbox is designed with a single supporting bearing. The external negative static brake facillitates the ease of maintainance sought after in marine applications. Several models have the DNV type approval; design approval is available on demand with the other major classification societies.
