The KDS-139 is a smart sensor for the measurement of wind speed and direction, designed specifically for application in marine environments. The sensor uses a 3-cup anemometer arrangement for wind speed measurement coupled to an optical tachometer for wind speed and a wind vane coupled to a 360-degree non-contact hall-effect encoder for direction measurement.
