RRB Energy WEGs are accredited with Type Test Certificate / Type Approval either by Germanischer Lloyd Industrial Services GmbH Renewables Certification (GLRC), Germany or by the Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Denmark or by the National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE), formerly known as C-WET, an autonomous Institution under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.
The Company also holds ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications.
Manufacturing Overview
RRB Energy has a world class state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for producing its Wind Electric Generators (WEGs) situated at Poonamallee, Chennai, India.
In order to ensure strict quality control and meet international standards, the Company has set up at Poonamallee, Chennai, India, a first of its kind facility for manufacturing WEG blades.
The Company’s WEG Controllers and parts thereof are manufactured both at Chennai and New Delhi, India.
The Company’s philosophy is that “Blades” are the “Heart” of the Wind Electric Generator (WEG) and “Controllers” are the “Brain”. By manufacturing WEG blades and controllers in-house RRB Energy ensures high quality, efficiency, longevity and safety during the operating life cycle of the WEG.
