PasandTM WSD100 is high performance soap that assistsing good surface finish and long die life.It is effective in high speed and deep drawing application of metals and provides optimum film strength, lubricity and good metal wetting characteristics.
There are a number of factors which have a considerable effect on the drawing process including composition of the metal to be drawn, Percentage reduction, Machine design and constraints, drafting practices, drawing speed, die design, Surface condition of rod and carriers.
Oxides need to be removed prior to wire drawing process to ensure optimal results. When wire rod is produced, oxides are formed on the surface of the wire. Fe3O4 is a blue oxide that forms on the wire as it cools following the rolling process and Fe2O3 is the red surface oxide or rust that forms during shipping and storage.
