Wire EDM Ratchet For Medical Device Industry

Wire EDM Machined 17-4 Stainless Steel Ratchet for the Medical Industry Using a customer-supplied CAD print and CAM programming, Wire Pro manufactured these featured 17-4 stainless steel ratchets for a client within the medical industry. We precision machined the ratchets using 2-axis wire EDM, and upheld a tight +- .001 inch tolerance throughout the process. The final ratchets measured 5.500 inches long, .180 inches wide, .200 inches thick, and featured a .004 inch maximum internal radius. We achieved a 32 RMS surface finish.
