Wire Rope Hoist

Power - master electric wire rope hoists designed & manufactured as per is: 3938 are compact and modular with easy in operation & maintenance.
Frame
all steel fabricated machined and bolted type. The gear box is rigidly aligned with the end load plates by substantially holding the transfer members which also form the motor platform for foot mounted motors.
Rope drum
the rope drum is made of sturdy seamless pipe or fabricated from steel plates and is grooved to take the full lift without over winding. The drum shaft revolves in ball bearings, ensuring smooth running.
Wire rope
6 × 36 construction special plough hemp core flexible steel wire rope, having safety factor of 6 for class ii and 7 for class iii duty is provided on the hoist.
Rope guide
standard “power-master” hoist carries rope guide and pressure ring encircling guide ring fixed around the grooves of the drum to ensure correct rope lay.
Motor
foot mounted squirrel cage induction motor designed and manufactured to is: 325 of reputed make are used, motors are totally enclosed, half hour rated, with high starting torque, specially designed and built for hoist duty. The motors are suitable for frequent start stop as well as braking and are provided with class ‘b’ insulation.
Brake
disc shoe type spring loaded brakes are provided for heavy duty operation. Brakes are mounted on the non driving end of the motor and are easily assessable.
Gears
alloy steel hobbed teeth helical-spur gears with solid pinions running on ballroller bearing with oil bath lubrication. All gears are hardened and tempered for minimum wear.
Controls
every hoist is provided with a control panel comprising of reputed make heavy duty, directed-on line reversing type air brake contactors, transformer and mcb. All these are housed in dust proof m.s. Fabricated sheet metal cabinet. The pendant push button station is provided at adequate height duly suspended by steel chain or wire rope, operating at 24110 volts to avoid accident.
Bottom block
bottom block assembly consisting of drop forged steel hook mounted on thrust ball-bearings, with large diameter sheave and hook plates made out of steel.
Limit switch
to avoid over winding or over lowering of wire rope, limit switches are provided in each hoist, which ensures the highest and lowest position of load hook.
Trolley
cross travel trolley are designed to suit either standard rolled steel or box girder. The trolley frame is rigidly bolted with hoist frame through series of holes. This also ensures proper adjustment of flange width. C.t. Wheels are provided with ball bearing and mounted on en 9 steel axles. The motorized trolley-push pull trolley and flexible trolley are also available.
Push buttons station
p.b. Switch of reputed make is used.2 stations (up and down) and 4 stations (up-down and left-right)
