Wireless Gas Detection System

As a fixed-point gas detector, with fast and affordable deployment, five-year battery life, and simple integration in WirelessHART® networks, the wireless gas detector was designed to meet changing needs in smart gas detection coverage. Install where traditional wired detectors cannot reach due to limitations in infrastructure or fill the gaps in plants as a part of management of change procedures. The wireless gas detector can also reduce engineering complexity, accelerate installation time, and significantly reduce total installation costs when compared to traditional wired systems. The wireless gas detector is ideal for the monitoring of toxic and combustible gases without the need for costly and fixed wiring. With a five-year battery life and one button calibration, the detector is easy to operate and maintain. The transmitter is designed using FlexSense sensors, allowing the end user to use the same transmitter with any sensor, and each is hot swappable. FlexSense helps minimize the number of parts end users may choose to have in spare parts inventory and reduces the number of devices instrumentation technicians need to become familiar with.
