Wrexham Mineral Cables are one of 3 companies registered within the General Contracting Group.

Established in 1989 we are now the UK’s largest manufacturer of Mineral Insulated Cables (MICC) in the UK. Operating from our purpose built 3700m² manufacturing facility located in Ruabon Wrexham, we have manufactured in excess of 135million metres of MICC fire survival cables.

Our success is due in part to the unique continuous manufacturing process developed by Wrexham Mineral Cables which has provided us with not only the highest quality MICC cable but has also helped us retain a competitive edge over our competitors. Owing to our continued success we are currently adding a further investment of a £5m 1260m² manufacturing line at our existing site.

The quality and reliability of Wrexham Mineral Cables is recognised world wide and throughout the electrical industry, receiving endorsements from BRE Global, LPCB, Oil Companies and international EPC contractors in over 12 countries globally.

With 43 staff members in the Wrexham Mineral Cables Team we are able to build a deep understanding of our client’s needs which inevitably creates strong working relationships. Our team are focussed and driven on delivering exceptional service and values. We are supporting our customers with on site training of MICC cable termination and full technical support.
