WS-1 White Sapphire

This is a diamond-like Ceylon sapphire that holds a lab certificate stating "no indication of heat treatment". Extremely rare! It weights 1.85 ct., top, finest white, (as good as it gets!) comparable to a D color diamond, finely cut in a fancy, antique, square cushion, mixed cut, measuring 6.42x6.58x4.98mm, flawless gem, IF-VVS type2 from the gem fields of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. Not a gray sapphire, but a magnificent, unheated example of the finest, colorless variety that is very difficult to get.
