X Ray Machines

An X-ray machine produces a controlled beam of radiation, which is used to create an image of the inside of your body. This beam is directed at the area being examined. X-rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation, similar to visible light. Unlike light, however, x-rays have higher energy and can pass through most objects, including the body. Medical x-rays are used to generate images of tissues and structures inside the body. X-ray exams can be used to view, monitor or diagnose bone fractures, joint injuries and infections, artery blockages, abdominal pain, cancer, etc.
