Mostly yeast packaging material is made out of wax paper as wax coating lends resistance to the paper from getting spoiled due to moisture or grease. It also reduces UV light transmission to prevent fatty products from getting rancid. Most fast food restaurant chains therefore favor qualitative packaging for their business.
