Zinc Octoate, Color : TRACE YELLOW, COLORLESS

Zinc is a powerful wetting & dispersing agent, & when incorporated early in formulation, it greatly reduces the time of mixing & grinding. Because of the extremely light colour, Zinc can be added without discoloring the film. Zink is an auxiliary drier, it is being used in combination with redox metal. In initial function of Zink is where Film should be open by retarding surface dry, therefore its allow hardening throuhhout & prevents surface to wrinkles. Specially in Cobalt containing films & enamels.
