These are designed to achieve maximum vacuum in a very short time and rise in temperature of the unit also remains under check, which in turn reduces the wear and tear of its components and makes it suitable for noiseless and trouble free performance for years and thus helps in reduction of repair bills.These pumps are very compact and are so simple in design that all minor repairs, in case of need, can be carried out easily without removing the main housing from its base plate and without disturbing the alignment. In industrial models, or in vacuum pumps of higher capacities which are operated continuously for very long spells of time the oil gets heated either on account of friction or on account of heavy intake of hot mixture of gas and vapours, the performance of the pump drops.

These pumps belonging to series PVD2 are designed to work non-stop without any problem, for a long period of time. These are Direct Drive, Double Stage, Oil Sealed, Rotary High Vacuum Pumps wherein, State of the Art technique has been adopted to ensure proper alignment and the fine setting of each & every component used, remain ever undisturbed.The main components of the pumps are made out of the selected superior quality raw materials, which mainly consist of specially treated Cast Iron and Steel. The pump is coupled directly to the Motor shaft without using any additional coupling which not only makes it compact, but also ensures its powerful positive drive sufficiently noiseless.

These combine in them the two-fold features of suction and pressure and hence the same unit can be employed for either function. When used as vacuum pump, they can create vacuum up to 710 mm (28" Hg) provided the temperature of the sealant water is below 30 C & barometric pressure at site is 30 Inches of Hg.One of the main characteristics of Promivac water-ring pumps is that even under harsh conditions or under lack of proper supervision, these pumps continue to give satisfactory performance because none of its internal parts demand greasing or lubrication. These are least affected if a small quantity of vapour, dust, gas, or other such impurities enter its body through the suction nozzle.

The main assembly of the pump comprises of a dynamically balanced rotor with three or four specially treated fiber vanes which is mounted in a stator. When the rotor is made to rotate with the aid of the connected electric motor, these vanes move in & out of the slots by centrifugal force & slide against the walls of the stator pushing thereby the trapped air out of the stator & prompting the atmospheric air to gush in spontaneously to fill in the empty space. This continuous process happening at a high speed, gives rise to an unbreakable stream of Vacuum and Pressure. The oil circulation system is so designed that after providing lubrication to all the vital components of the pump, oil travels ahead without contaminating the air and gets automatically collected in its original chamber for re-circulation.
