MeteringDosing pumps are plunger or diaphragm type positive displacement pumps used for feeding intermittently or continuously a controlled quantity of fluid chemical within pre-determined time or at fixed intervals. Quantity of the dose time or intervening time can be regulated even while in operation.

The rotor is provided with eight vanes, which are free to slide and move in & out of the slots, by centrifugal action. When in 'out' position these press against the inner walls of stator. When the rotor rotates, these vanes sweep the air eight times in a single revolution creating vacuum & pressure simultaneously.

The Back Pullout Design with the help of a coupling spacer facilitates removal of the pump rotating element. After dismantling the casing cover, support foot, cooling water heating connections and sealing liquid (if any) the complete pump rotating element can be withdrawn from the pump casing. The pipework remains undisturbed and the motor remains fixed to the baseplate. The pump rotating element can then be easily dismantled, repaired overhauled and re-assembled without wastage of time for realignment of pump & motor.
