Electrical switches are equipped with 2 or more contacts that are fitted on an insulating structure or insulator.  These contacts are maintained in such a way that they can easily move in and out with the appropriate operation mechanism of the switches. Made up of suitable metals that are not likely to form insulating oxides and eventually affect the performance of the switches, the 2 contacts are resistant to corrosion and ensure the longevity of the devices. Electric switches also come with an actuator, a part that is fitted for creating operating force to the contacts.
