Our Products
Our Complete range of products are RNRG Ice Free 3 Heated Anemometer and RM Young Vertical Anemometer.
The electrically heated IceFree3 Anemometer's simple, robust design provides a proven and reliable solution in icing environments.
The IceFree3 signal output is a variable amplitude sine wave, where frequency is proportional to wind speed. Patented off-axis correction minimizes errors in measuring up-slope or down-slope winds. The internal heater is powered by 24 VAC and allows for an operating temperature range of -40C to 80C (-40 F to 176 F). The optional 120/240 VAC to 24 VACTransformer - IceFree3 Sensorsis available to step down 120/240 VAC grid power.
The IceFree3 Heated Anemometer comes with a 10 m potted cable that can be extended to your desired length using thePower Cable Kit - IceFree3 Sensor 2C, sold separately and available in 10 meter increments up to 90 meters.

Whether you are conducting a resource assessment campaign or managing an existing site, every stage of successful wind and solar energy projects depends on precise wind speed data. RK Systems offers numerous types of anemometersincluding heated and vertical onesto suit a variety of performance and application needs.
Increasingly, wind farm developers and turbine manufacturers are seeking to understand the vertical component of wind velocity. The RM Young 27106T is a precision air speed measurement instrument designed to meet this need. This dynamic sensor responds specifically to the component of air flow that is parallel to the axis of its rotation.
The RM Young 27106T interfaces with all Symphonie series data loggers. In order to accommodate the output signal of the sensor, your data logger must be equipped with either aSymphonie SCM Card(SCM #3745, used with SymphoniePLUS3 and older) or a Pro Signal Conditioning Module (P-SCM #9134, used with SymphoniePRO). An HD single-sided 76", 3/4" IPT mounting boom and a two-conductor sensor cable (of appropriate length) are required to mount the sensor to a met tower.
