Mastiff Clip Tag is a active RFID tag ideal for warehouse management. This tag is equipped with Tri-color LED and the clip in the enclosure to fix it in the item to be searched in a warehouse. This Clip tag is used withPoE/EthernetReader. The PoE/Ethernet Reader gets the command from the user through internet/intranet and sprays the command wirelessly. When the Clip tag receives the command, it checks whether the tag ID in the command matches with its own ID. If it matches the command will be executed in the tag. Typically the command is to turn ON/OFF the LEDs.
The Clip tag operates with two AAA batteries and gives more than 18 months battery life on typical usage. The tag comes with a wireless configuration feature. The Tag ID and other RF parameters can be changed by doing the wireless configuration with an USB Dongle. These RF parameters includes RF baud rate, frequency channel and the RF receiver sensitivity. The details are given in the user manual.The Low battery is indicated by continuous RED LED blink which prompts the user to change the batteries.

Orbit has two components. One is a tag and other is a reader. Orbit tag is a personal electronic tag which can be attached to a person or a property.
The intelligent reader tracks the tags and manages the necessary devices through the secure communication from the tag.

| No keypad or other devices that reveal the structureof the system are involved in Orbit. Energy conservation and management: Orbit constantly tracks the number of people in the office or home and accordingly regulates the use of electrical devices and appliances like turningon/offthe lights, fans, AC, copiers, coffee machines etc. If there is no person in a room then all the electrical devices in that room are switched off automatically. Similarly, when all the employees have left the office, all the electrical devices in the office shut down automatically. No one needs to perform these operations manually. This helps in bringing down the electricity consumption by 10 to 15%. Security and Access Control: Orbit is an innovative product that can be used in the field of security. It is a system that allows the user to completely stay away from alarm codes and keys to enter a secure area. Every authorized person is given a unique Orbit tag which is recognized by the Orbit reader. When the authorized user comes near the door, he is given access. If an unauthorized person tries to enter the secured area, the door does not open and is denied access. In a highly secured area, the orbit reader can be integrated with an additional alarm which is triggered when an unauthorized person tries to enter the room. This is an excellent feature of Orbit tag. The security of the area is maintained 100% without any codes or keys. Similarly, the Orbit tag can be integrated in different access points to eliminate the need of an access card. |
Reindeers Mastiff Ethernet Reader is an Active RFID Reader with Ethernet connectivity which can be used indoors to track people and for the access control. This device can be used to track and monitor students, employees, workers, visitors inside the buildings or outdoors. The reader collects the tag information along with the date and time from the compatible Mastiff active RFID tags through its dedicated RFID reader and updates the server through Ethernet.The Ethernet Reader has an RTC with battery backup. It also comes with an internal storage to store the tag data along with date and time at which the tag ID is read. The device can store upto 1300 tag records in its internal memory during network failures. Mastiff Ethernet Reader operates with 12V/1A DC power supply. The Reader is equipped with relay which is triggered when the tag is read. Relay comes back to normal state after the pre-configured time interval. Server information, RF parameters and other parameters can be configured to the device through its USB port.
Its fitted in a heavy duty ABS material which protects the device from normal wear and tear and comes with a flame rating of UL94-5VA. Mastiff Ethernet Reader comes with a sleek design and carries a host of LEDs indicators for various functionalities such as Ethernet Communication, RF, Relay and Power. These will be useful during troubleshooting and periodic maintenance.
The device firmware can be upgraded through its USB port. The range of the RFID reader is adjustable and it covers up to 100 meters line of sight. Based on the protocol used for down-stream server communication, there are two versions of Mastiff Ethernet Active RFID Reader is available.
This is a versatile, long range wireless embedded module which can be interfaced through UART to the host microcontroller. The module works as a high power RF transceiver, to transmit the data given through the UART. The module has UART data interface and do the RF communication at 865 MHz to 870 MHz. The integrated RF front end gives an output power of +24 dBm. Most of the RF and other network parameters can be configured on the module through the AT command interface which makes it flexible for use. The UART data transfer between the Host processor and the RF module is done with three handshaking signals (RTS/CTS/EOF). This module can be integrated with the host controller with little customization and minimum effort.Applications
Reindeers Mastiff Power Over Ethernet Reader is an Active RFID Reader with Power Over Ethernet feature which can be used indoors to track people. When this reader is used with a PoE Switch, reader can draw power from the PoE Switch itself through the Ethernet cable. So no need for the AC power socket or the DC adapters.

The VCO operates at twice the fundamental frequency to reduce spurious emissions and frequency pulling problems. The transmitter output power is programmable in 63 steps from 20 dBm to +13 dBm. The UHF transceiver module RF frequency, channel spacing, and modulation are programmable using a simple 3-wire interface. The RF transceiver module operates with a power supply range of 2.3 V to 3.6V and can be powered down when not in use. A low IF architecture is used in the receiver (200 kHz), minimizing power consumption and the external component count and avoiding interference problems at low frequencies.
The RDM-A4FZ supports a wide variety of programmable features, including Rx linearity, sensitivity, and IF bandwidth, allowing the user to trade off receiver sensitivity and selectivity for current consumption, depending on the application. The receiver also features automatic frequency control (AFC) loop, allowing the PLL to compensate for frequency error in the incoming signal. An on-chip ADC provides read back of an integrated temperature sensor, an external analog input, the battery voltage, or the RSSI signal, which provides savings on an ADC in some applications. The temperature sensor is accurate to 10C over the full operating temperature range of 40C to +85C. This accuracy can be improved by doing a 1-point calibration at room temperature and storing the result in memory.Applications

The control unit requires 5V DC for operation, while the relay unit requires a 12V DC supply. The battery life in the relay control system can come up to 1-year as the unit will be in sleep mode when not in operation. The relay unit can be used to drive any kind of AC or DC circuits or devices that can take up to 5 Amps load. The CSMA-CA protocol has been implemented in these relay control systems which avoids false triggering and collisions among the devices operating in the same frequency. The transmit/receive loop is complete with the control unit receiving the acknowledgement from the relay unit for all successful transmissions.

Mastiff Long Range Asset Tag is a active RFID tag ideal for monitoring assets, cargo or any moving or stationary objects. Enterprises can use this tag to do real-time tracking and monitoring of assets, cargo in fleets or items in a warehouse. The periodic data sent by the tag can be captured by a compatible Mastiff active RFID reader. The captured data is sent to software for reporting or analytical reasons. The tag comes along with the user configuration utility which allows configuration of many parameters of the tag wirelessly. The utility is an easy to use software interface, through which the user can read and write the configuration data to the tag. Configuration data includes the tag ID, time interval of transmission, RF data rate, active/sleep mode and the signal strength of the transmission.
The tag design has been optimized for very low power consumption to give a higher battery life of up to 1.5 years with two AA batteries. The tag sends a low battery warning to the software which will enable us to replace the tag before it dies down.
The tag is built with a power amplifier which gives a maximum RF output power of +26 dBm which makes it highly suitable for long-range tracking. The typical tracking range offered by the tag is around 1000 meters (or 1 km) line of sight.
The tag is completely sealed inside an IP65 flame retardant polycarbonate enclosure which protects it against dust and water. The tag comes with mounting flanges on both sides and it can be easily mounted using a cable tie. The silicone rubber gasket makes the tag ideal for outdoor use in a wide range of adverse conditions. The batteries can be easily changed without removing the tag from the mounted position.

The reader collects the tag information from the compatible Mastiff active RFID tags through its dedicated RFID reader and updates the server through GPRS. Mastiff Reader can also be used for Fleet Management, Vehicle Tracking, Wireless Sensor Networking and other Machine to Machine (M2M) applications. Its a stand-alone device which tracks the location of the vehicle and communicates to the down-stream software in a seamless way. It also measures other performance parameters such as engine status, door status, vehicle speed, tamper status etc. and sends them to the server along with timestamp. Mastiff Reader is fitted with fully functional GPS tracker and comes with GSM/GPRS connectivity for downs-stream communications. Besides, it has additional power backup which can maintain continuous uptime for 72 hours when external power is disconnected. It also comes with an additional storage of more than 5 GB which can be used as backup communication failures. Mastiff Tag is an active RFID tag ideal for monitoring people indoors or outdoors. Schools or organizations can use this tag as a ID card and do real-time tracking and monitoring of students, employees, visitors or contract workers inside schools, hospitals, high security offices or in construction sites or in moving vehicles. The periodic data sent by the tag can be captured by a compatible Mastiff active RFID reader. The captured data is sent to software for reporting or analytical reasons.
The tag comes along with the user configuration utility which allows configuration of many parameters of the tag wirelessly. The utility is an easy to use software interface, through which the user can read and write the configuration data to the tag. Configuration data includes the tag ID, time interval of transmission, RF data rate, active/sleep mode and the signal strength of the transmission.
The tag is completely sealed inside a rugged ABS plastic enclosure and certified with IP67 protection which will protect it from water and dust. It has an optional internal memory up to 128 KB which can store additional information about the students as per the customers requirements. The sleek design of the tag is comparable with the traditional ID card of the students making it an ideal replacement of normal ID cards.
The tag design has been optimized for very low power consumption to give a higher battery life of 5 years. The tag sends a low battery warning to the software which will enable us to replace the tag before it dies down. The tag is a low power transmitting device complies with all regulatory requirements and certified as safe to use on people.
The device has been approved By WPC (Wireless Planning Commission) of Ministry of Communication and IT, Government of India. Declaration letter is available indicating the device is safe to use by people. The certification and declaration letter is available on request.
