Mastiff Clip Tag is a active RFID tag ideal for warehouse management. This tag is equipped with Tri-color LED and the clip in the enclosure to fix it in the item to be searched in a warehouse. This Clip tag is used withPoE/EthernetReader. The PoE/Ethernet Reader gets the command from the user through internet/intranet and sprays the command wirelessly. When the Clip tag receives the command, it checks whether the tag ID in the command matches with its own ID. If it matches the command will be executed in the tag. Typically the command is to turn ON/OFF the LEDs.

The Clip tag operates with two AAA batteries and gives more than 18 months battery life on typical usage. The tag comes with a wireless configuration feature. The Tag ID and other RF parameters can be changed by doing the wireless configuration with an USB Dongle. These RF parameters includes RF baud rate, frequency channel and the RF receiver sensitivity. The details are given in the user manual.The Low battery is indicated by continuous RED LED blink which prompts the user to change the batteries.

Mastiff Long Range Asset Tag is a active RFID tag ideal for monitoring assets, cargo or any moving or stationary objects. Enterprises can use this tag to do real-time tracking and monitoring of assets, cargo in fleets or items in a warehouse. The periodic data sent by the tag can be captured by a compatible Mastiff active RFID reader. The captured data is sent to software for reporting or analytical reasons. The tag comes along with the user configuration utility which allows configuration of many parameters of the tag wirelessly. The utility is an easy to use software interface, through which the user can read and write the configuration data to the tag. Configuration data includes the tag ID, time interval of transmission, RF data rate, active/sleep mode and the signal strength of the transmission.

The tag design has been optimized for very low power consumption to give a higher battery life of up to 1.5 years with two AA batteries. The tag sends a low battery warning to the software which will enable us to replace the tag before it dies down.

The tag is built with a power amplifier which gives a maximum RF output power of +26 dBm which makes it highly suitable for long-range tracking. The typical tracking range offered by the tag is around 1000 meters (or 1 km) line of sight.

The tag is completely sealed inside an IP65 flame retardant polycarbonate enclosure which protects it against dust and water. The tag comes with mounting flanges on both sides and it can be easily mounted using a cable tie. The silicone rubber gasket makes the tag ideal for outdoor use in a wide range of adverse conditions. The batteries can be easily changed without removing the tag from the mounted position.
