Vicksburg Penetrometer/ Proving Ring Pentrometer;

This is for determining the bearing capacity of sub grades or for compaction control. It also used for rapidly determining the penetration resistance of soils in shallow exploration work.
Consists of a sturdy handle under which is fixed a sensitive proving ring. An extension piece is fixed to the bottom of the proving ring and carries a detachable penetration cone at its tip. Proving ring capacity 100 kg (1 kn) and 0. 002 mm dial gauge provided indicates the penetration load applied. An optical viewer is provided to facilitate reading the dial gauge by the operator. Simplified for single person operation. A calibration chart is provided for the proving ring. Instrument is complete in a wooden carrying case.
VANE SHEAR APPRATUS (LABORATORY PURPOSE.)
Conforming to specifications and tolerance in accordance to I.S. 2720 Part XXX. Consists of a torque head adjustable in height by means of a lead screw rotated by a drive wheel to enable the vane to be lowered into the specimen. Rotation of the vane by means of a hand wheel, which operates a worm gear arrangement turning the upper end of a calibrated torsion spring. The vane shaft is attached through the hollow upper shaft to a resettable pointer. Which indicates the angle of torque on a dial graduated in degrees. The dial reading multiplies by spring factor gives the torque. Complete with A container and set of springs approx 2kg/cm, 4 kg-cm, 6 kg-cm and 8 kg-cm Complete in a polished wooden box.

Rapid Moisture Meter, For quick determination of moisture content of materials in powder form viz. soil, sand, coal, pottery slip, cement etc. Calcium Carbide when comes in contact with moisture acetylene gas in generate. This principle is used in Rapid Moisture Meter. A weighted quantity of sample is mixed with fixed quantity of Calcium Carbide reagent and the whole mixture is thoroughly skaken in a vessel to which a pressure gauge is fixed. The acetylene gas produced developes pressure and pressure gauge is cablibrated to read percentage moisture. The instrument indicates moisture on wet/weight BLS easily convertible to dry weight basis.

Riffle sampler divider, (Close body) We are offering a wide range of Riffle Sample Divider. Riffle sample dividers are used for the easy dividing and reduction of bulk material samples with particle sizes ranging from less than 1 mm up to a maximum of 10 mm. Our Riffle sample divider consists of a sheet metal box mounted on legs and fitted with a series of chutes or equal width which discharge the material alliteratively in opposite directions into speculate panes. This equipment is mainly used for sampling aggregates, cement, ores, refractory materials, pigments, soap, powdered coal etc. It is also used for rapid collection of true representative sample from aggregates.
Standard Penetrometer - Universal Conforming to specifications and tolerance in accordance to I.S. 1448(P: 60) I.S.1203 In this test a given force is applied over the sample for a known period of time and the depth of penetration of the depression made in to the sample is measured in tenths of a millimeter which is expressed as a penetration number. An accurately machined aluminum base with in-set sprit level has been designed to permit penetration tests to be made over a wide surface area of sample. Adjustable feet are provided in the base for leveling. Upright may be rotated to permit the testing of samples immersed in any water bath. Supplied complete with a plunger weighing 47.5 g and for testing bituminous products one each of 50g and 100g weights and needle.
