Our Products
Our product range contains a wide range of Head Drive Pulleys, Tail Pulleys and Drum Pulley
Head/ Drive pulley is located at the discharge end of the conveyor. It is known for providing driving force to the conveyor. May or may not be the head pulley. Usually it has a larger diameter than other pulleys in the system and is often lagged to increase traction and pulley life. The lagging on this type of pulley is usually hot vulcanized lagging with preferably diamond grooves on the face of the pulley.
As the name rightly suggests a tail pulley often located immediately preceding the loading point of the conveyor near the tail side. A tail pulleyis a self driven pulley that moves in tandem with the head pulley of the conveyor driving angular momentum from it.
Tightens belt giving more surface contact between belt and pulley face. It is usually located just behind the drive pulley but there is no such rule to use it there and can be fixed also be used at where it can be used at any location. It consists of a rim shell, 2 end discs and 2 shaft locking assemblies.
Belt slippage means costly downtime. The use of a snub pulley is one solution. Mounted close to the drive pulley on the return side of the belt, the snub pulley's primary job is to increase the angle of wrap around the drive pulley, thereby increasing traction. Its secondary purpose is to reduce belt tension, which is important in maximizing the conveyor life. The specification of a snub pulley is dependent upon drive horsepower, material characteristics and environmental conditions.
