Powder by SizeThe particle-size distribution of Aluminum Powders can be adjusted to produce a range of products from coarse to fine, and even superfine. Aluminum Powder coarse products are available with median particle sizes of 20 to 60 m. Fine aluminum powders in the 6 to 20 m range. Superfine powders in the 3 to 6 m range. Powder by ShapeWe offer both spherical and irregularly shaped nodular powders in commercial quantities. Powder by Chemical PropertiesWe offer aluminum powders with varying aluminum purity and with different concentrations of alloying elements. Iron and silicon are the major contaminants for both regular and high-purity powders. Standard grade aluminum powders have a typical composition of 99.7% aluminum. High Purity Aluminum Powders maximum aluminum contains is 99.98% and minimum is 99.97%. Powder by Physical PropertiesAll aluminum powders are produced with an oxide coating. Special coated and blended powders can be produced according to customer needs. Individual particles of all grades of Aluminum Powder are coated with 0.1 to 1.0% aluminum oxide, depending on particle size. For all Aluminum Powder products, the percentage of aluminum is reported separately from the percentage of aluminum oxide. These powders are coated with 0.3 to 2% isostearic acid or other lubricants. Several grades of powders have been produced by blending other powders such as copper, silicon, and magnesium. Other can be also produce as per customer demand.
