Sharplex Single or Multibag Polishing Filters are basically used for post filtration. The baskets are fitted with quick opening type arrangements. Filter bags used are PP, PPS, Polyster Polyamide or special material depending on process conditions. Depending on flow rate single or multibags can be supplied.

For filtration of liquids with suspended solid contents upto 7%. No filter cloth requirement. Automatic dislodging of filtered cake by pneumatic vibrator or oscillating sluice header. Dry or wet cake discharge is possible. Filtration area upto 120m2.

Sharplex Horizontal Plate Closed Filter is Used for filtration of small batches in Pharma, Chemical, Edible oil, Food Industries, Complete products recovery is possible with scavenger plate. GMP & ZERO HOLD UP models are available, models are ranging from 8", 14", 18", 24" & 33". Material of construction In SS304, SS316, PP, PVDF, Hastelloy, Monel etc.

Sharplex Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filter (shell retraction or bundle retraction) features horizontal pressure vessel, filter leaves, pneumatic vibrator assembly, bottom structure housing, hydraulic power pack for bonnet ring opening / closing and shell or bundle retraction. Filter leaves are mounted on a central outlet manifold with perfect 'O' ring sealing. Filtration areas from 2m2 to 200m2. Dry cake discharge or wet cake discharge is possible.

Filters are also supplied with fix or oscillating sluicing arrangement for wet cake dislodging.

Stainless steel, Carbon steel with rubber, PP, PVDF lining, Monel, Inconel , etc. 'O' ring sealing are available in BUNA-N, Viton, EPDM, Nitrile, Silicon etc.

Sharplex have supplied several filters for Molten Sulphur Filtration in sulphuric acid & sulphonation plants.

Normally 'ASH' is a impurity which needs to be removed from sulphur so that further processing using molten sulphur should be smooth.

Sharplex offers horizontal pressure leaf filter for molten sulphur filtration in following two versions -

Both the versions are operated (for opening and closing of filter) hydraulically for easy of operation.

Filtration area : from 5 m2to 200 m2.

Initially the filter is precoated with filteraid (kieselguhr or perlite). After precoating molten sulphur from sulphur pits is fed to the filter for filtration of ash. After the filtration cake is dreid with steam. After drying is complete filter is opened and cake is removed manually by knocking at leaf bottom by wooden spatula.

Normally filter vessel is manufactured in carbon steel / boiler quality material and is jacketed. Filter leafs are made of 5 layer design and are in complete stainless steel. Leafs are bolted or rivetted design.

Sharplex Candle Filter consists of candle shaped filter elements made out of Equi-Diameter pipes. Each candle is covered with filter hose in polypropylene, Polyester, Nylon, PVDF and PTFE. These candle are arranged vertically in a pressure vessel. Number of candles depends on filtration area of filter. Filtration & cake formation takes place under the pressure. Wet or dry discharge is possible by means of blow back. For continuous operation two filters are installed.

Candle in PP, PVDF also available for corrosive application.

Sharplex Level Leaf Filters are used for polishing filtration in post filtration stage to trap the fine particles from the filtrate of main filter. The filter elements have filter surface at both the sides and hence this filter becomes very compact even at higher filtration areas. The filter medium can be cloth or paper. The filters are available from 2m2upto 15m2.

Sharplex is supplying Cartridge Filters in various range of Cartridge elements. Housing are made of SS, PP, Hastelloy, Monel. Cartridges are reusable or disposable. PP, Spun, Pleated, Wound Cartridges are available in indisposable type and SS sintered, wire mesh Cartridges are available in reusable type. Complete skid mounted versions are available.
