We are offering talcum powder. Talc has the formulae mg3si4o10(oh)2 and a relative hardness of 1. It is a mineral of secondary origin formed by the alteration of magnesium silicates. Usually found in metamorphic rocks where, in a non-crystalline form, it occurs as 'soapstone' - and can make up large rock masses. Used for laboratory table tops and for many industrial uses. It has a greasy feel.
Buyers can rely on us for the best in line products as we prepare them using the finest grade raw material and modern techniques. Also, the basic material is sourced from the reliable places. We have uncompromised quality rules when it comes to packaging. We make sure the products are properly packed for shipping/ handling, as well as they have smudge-proof labels. Highlights : Finely grained Pure Free from impurities High thermal as well as chemical inertness Note : Approx. Rs 7, 000 / Unit/Onwards Talcum Powder For Pharmaceutical Industry is available in IP grade or Sterilized grades that make them ideal excipients due to their inertness. They also act as glidants to control powder flow and as lubricants for tableting. IP grade of Talcum Powder For Pharmaceutical Industry is used in enteric coatings for targeted delivery of drugs. We offer IP grade Talcum Powder For Pharmaceutical Industry that is processed to remove impurities like iron oxide, dolomite, carbon, magnesium and carbonate minerals. Our Sterilized Grade is used in Pharmaceutical Cosmetics like tablets, ointments, etc., as filler owing to its thermal chemical inertness.
In ceramic bodies, the main vitrifying (fluxing) agent is feldspar. The majority of white ware bodies contain good proportions of feldspar. It acts as a flux. In the ceramic industry, the flux is defined as that portion of the body which develops glass phase. This is provided mostly by feldspar. The amount of flux in a ceramic body should be only in such a proportion as to develop the desired amount of vitrification. If excess of flux is added, the fired body becomes very glassy and consequently, brittle. The glass and ceramic industries are the major consumers of feldspar and account for 95% of the total consumption. We produce POTASH FELDSPAR(K-SPAR) in forms of : Granular Particles Powder (200 - 325 mesh) Lumps form 1 inches to 15 inches
Our organization is graded among receptive and responsible Suppliers of Talc Powder For Paper, involved in providing to purchasers across diverse marketplaces. Our prime interest is to deliver a flawless range of products to the buyers. And in this concern, we make all arrangements in order to store the entire lot under safe environment. Use Of Talc Powder For Paper Industry : As a filler to give smoothness, porosity and opacity to paper in addition to reducing the cost. To control Pitch and Stikies. During the paper making process, oleo resinous droplets micro or colloidal in nature get added to the stream. These micro impurities can clog the paper machinery. Talc, being hydrophobic, absorbs these micro droplets or if the droplets are big then talc lamellae stick to their surface thus controlling their stickiness. Used in coating formulations because of its high brightness, talc leads to reduction in usage of expensive whitening and helps in controlling gloss of the coat. Provides smoothness to the surface and imparts opacity to the coat. Note : Approx. Rs 7, 000 / Unit/Onwards
Soapstone or Steatite or Talc is an alteration product of original or secondary Magnesium minerals. Talc is hydrous Magnesium Silicate and its chemical composition would correspond to 63.5% Silica (Si0 2 ), 31.7% Magnesia (MgO) and 4.8% water (H 2 0). In nature, chemically pure Talc is very rare; it has some contaminations. Talc has a greasy or soapy feel and Pure Talc is characterized by extreme softness. Talc has good luster or sheen, high slip or lubricating power, good hiding power and ability to absorb specific types of oils and grease. Talc is inert to most chemical reagents, although it exhibits a marked alkaline pH of 9-9.5. It has low electrical and chemical conductivity. Talcum Powder is widely used in many industries as a filler/extender and in other industrial applications due to its natural physical and chemical properties and relatively low price. Talc Powder is used in industrial applications because of its lamellar platy nature, softness, whiteness, hydrophobic features, atmosphere & acid resistance, high thermal strength, chemical inertness, high dielectric strength, high melting point and absorption features. Particle size distribution is a critical parameter in most Talc Applications. Talc for paints, paper, plastics and cosmetics (with whiteness ranging from 80% to 98% with fineness up to 800 meshes with varying calcium percentage, ranging from 0.5 to 15%). Talc is an important industrial mineral. Its resistance to heat, electricity and acids make it an ideal surface for lab counter tops and electrical switchboards. The Talc is also an important filler material for paints, rubber and insecticides. Even with all these uses, most people only know talc as the primary ingredient in talcum powder. Mineral specimens are not very common as it does not form very large crystals. However, it often replaces other minerals on an atom by atom basis and forms what are called pseudo morphs (false shape). The talc takes the form of the mineral it replaces. A specimen of what looks like milky quartz is quite a surprise when it not only has a soapy feel but can be scratched by a fingernail. Applications Of Talc Powder : Paper Paints Detergent Pharmaceuticals Plastics Ceramics Cosmetics Animal feed
As we follow the automated warehousing system, we ensure safe assembling as well as storage of the entire lot. Moreover, the system is well managed by our team of experts. Trustworthy shipping facilities, competent workforce and prompt delivery of the products make us stand out in the industry. Details Being chemically inert it is safe for consumption by animals India Talc is hydrophobic in nature which helps protects the nutrients in the feed as it prevents loss and absorption of water India Talc is used as an anti-caking agent in animal feed India Talc is an effective lubricant for dies as it will not degrade pallet integrity India Talc is an ideal carrier as it helps the different ingredients to blend easily and facilitates the dispersion of sticky ingredients Highlights : Non-toxic Finely grained Long shelf-life Note : Approx.
