tamarind kernel powder :
we offer finest quality tamarind kernel powder for gum, textile, paper, plywood & other industrial applications.kernel is inner portion of the seeds. Tamarind kernel powder is obtain from this kernel. It is composed of glucose, xylose and galactose in a ratio 3:2:1. And has a high molecular weight ranging from 2.5x105to 6.5x105.it is better gelling agent. The solution is very stable in wide range of temperature & ph. The viscosity of tkp is directly proportional to its concentration, it increases sharply even with small increase in the concentration. Viscosity is not impacted by ph of the solution, or by iron, sodium salts. It performs better in presence of sugars.

tkp vs pectin:
tkp in the aqueous media forms mucilaginous dispersion and exhibit characteristics of gelling in presence of sugar concentrates, analogous to the pectin. Unlike pectin, tkp can gel at various ph, (including ph levels 7 and above). Also aqueous solutions of tkp are more thermal stable as compared to those of pectin. Tkp shows a strong affinity towards most of the natural gums (especially cellulose) and would show synergism to them.
tkp vs guar gum:
tkp shows better thermal stability than guar gum. Also the ph tolerance is higher in tkp. Guar gum is far most superior than tkp in dispersion and suspension. Guar gum is readily soluble in cold water, whereas tkp takes more time for achieving full viscosity.
Product Description:
IWP Powder
It is obtained by grinding pods of tree found in Central and western India. It is mixed type tannin material consisting Pyrogallol & Catechol tannins.
PRODUCTS —
1) IWP GS (Tannins 25 to 30 %)
2) IWP CE 25 (Tannins 30 to 35 % with higher solubility, penetration
& tanning powder)
ATTRIBUTES
1) This is mixed type pyrogallol and catechol tanning material.
2) IWP bears high acidity.
3) It improves fastness of leather imparted by other catechol tannins OR syntans.
4) It yields light colour leather mostly whitish leather.
TANNING PROPERTIES
A] IWP GS
1) It penetrates slowly, there for it is not used self tanning material ORfor primary tanning alone.
2) It is used along with other syntans where it improves the lightfastness.
3) In EI tanning it is used in blend with Catechu Extract.
4) When blended with condensed type tannin, it suite for heavyleather, sole leather tanning producing light colour leather someusers obtaining white leather.
5) It is best suitable for Split leather, Goat, ship skins.
6) It is very suitable at retanning stage
B] IWP CE 25
1) It penetrates faster than IWP GS can be used self tanning materialOR for primary tanning.
2) It contains more catechol tannins comparatively can berecommended for self tanning.
3) It is used along with other syntans in smaller percentage where itimproves the light fastness.
4)It useful in EI tanning, it can be used in blend with few quantity of Catechu Extract, if required.
5) When blended with condensed type tannin, it suite for heavyleather, sole leather tanning Producing light colour leather.
6) It is best suitable for Split leather, Goat, ship, buffalo, Cow & otherheavy skins.
7) It is very suitable at retanning stage.
