Product Description:

MMP-K 100

This material is obtained by grinding whole nut of Myrobalan Tree. This is hydrolysable type material having tannin content max. 45 %

PRODUCTS —

1) MMP- K 30 ( Tannins 30 to 35 %)

2) MMP – K 100 ( Tannins 35 to 40 %)

ATTRIBUTES

1) This is pyrogallol OR Hydrolysable type tannin material.

2) MMP has high acidity and low salt.

3) Contains min. iron.

4) MMP does not oxidized when exposed to sunlight.

5) It improves colour fastness of leather.

6) MMP bears strong bleaching properties.

TANNING PROPERTIES

1) Being Hydrolysable type & slow penetrationpower it can not be used as self tanning material.

2) It is blended with catechol tannins, it impartslight colour, fullness, plumpness & firmness of leather.

3) MMP promotes fixation of catechol tannins givingmellowing effect.

4) It is used for final stage of tanning OR Forretanning to improve light fastness.

5) It is used for retannage of wet blue, Cow, buffalo, Ship & Goat Skins. Particularly shrunk grain upper leather.

6) MMP blended with other syntans as it protectfrom oxidation & promotes fixation of catechol tannins.

7) In making sole leather MMP can be blended with Mimosa.
