Bucket Elevator finds an extensive application in industry of Material Handling whenever space constraint exists. Bucket Elevator handles wide range of materials depending upon the characteristics of the material and accordingly they are categorized into three types

This is vertical in orientation and handles free flowing fine or small lump material.

This is often used for handling larger lumps and material that maybe difficult to handle by Centrifugal Discharge Elevators. The slow speed and gentle method of loading and discharging minimize breakage of fragile material.

This is similar to Centrifugal discharge elevator except that space between buckets is very less Bucket speed is slower and this type is specially suited to handle light, aerated, dusty and sticky materials
