Our product range contains a wide range of DUAL PURPOSE RIPPLE TANK, Inclined Plane, Ray Optics Box, Jollys Photometer and Wimshurst Machine
The apparatus consists of a framed tray with a plexi glass base and detachable legs. A pair of support rods with clamps is provided which can be attached to the sides of the tank and used to carry the wave generating system. A set of 4 metal barriers (reflectors) is included consisting of a pair of straight barriers 150x25mm, a curved barrier of 215mm chord length x 25mm high and a short, straight barrier of 25x25mm.
The ripples are produced by a small 1.5 to 4.5V D.C. electric motor mounted at the centre of a wooden wave generator bar with a row of holes to mount the spherical dippers supplied. It is recommended that the power supply unit is used as this has been specially designed for use with the ripple tank. It has continuously variable D.C. output so that the speed of the motor and hence the frequency of the ripples may be varied. One white card sheet may be placed on the floor underneath the tank as a screen to receive the wave pattern shadows. Tank can be used with an overhead projector.

Made of two blocks of translucent material with dimensions 25 x 20 x 12.5 mm, separated by a sheet of opaque material. Mounted on a base, with window for viewing. Fitted on a stem length 75 mm, on stand. When two sides of the blocks are exposed to uneven illumination, the block shows difference in color.
The two plates are supported in two rigid uprights and driven by belt in opposite direction. They are heavy, high resistance plastic with sectors of aluminium sheet. Two Leyden jars (condensers) made from glass and aluminium foil. The whole is mounted on a wooden base nicely polished.

This is to demonstrate the presence of electric charge over a charged body and its transfer by contact over the electroscope disc, The gold leaf is attached over a metal plate which is attached to an axle and a removable metal disc on top. The deflection of leaf may be seen by glass windows, one of which is sliding, fitted on a casted body 95 x 60 x 105mm approx, provided with teethed sheet metal, arc inside, a 4mm socket on one side.
