Made of non-wrapping wood in lacquer finish or painted, markings and graduations having good contrast and visibility, scales in bold black lines and numbered every 10 cm, fitted with a ^ central handle and a hanging hole.
It is also called platform balance and has a weighing capacity of 2 Kg supplied with supplementary masses. The balance has a Diecast Aluminium base beautifully painted, pressure die casted two beams, graduated 0-10 g x 0.1 g and 0-200 x 10 g, taring capacity 225 gm with tare beam. Spring loaded zero-adjust compensator. Two pans are of stainless steel each of dia 150 mm. Supplementary masses of metal are one each of 100 g, 200 g, 500 g and 1000 g. Magnetic damping is provided for quick weighing.
