Statex Veguam is the most advanced and reliable instrument for measuring 8 fibre properties namely   length, strength, micronaire, maturity, colour, trash, moisture and UV.

Testing Modules

• Each module having separate sample loading facility.
• All modules work independently and simultaneously.
• Length and Strength Modules :  Fully automatic sample preparation by four combs in circular path. A new patented twin pneumatic clamping mechanism for accurate and speeding mechanism. Length measured by optical, strength measured by concentrate of elongation principle respectively in ICC and HVI mode of testing.
• Colour, Trash and Moisture Module : Colour and trash parameters measured by optical reflectance, image processing. Electrical resistance principles for moisture measurement.
• Micronaire and Maturity Module :  It measures the micronaire and maturity parameters by "Patented Double compression airflow method” in three type of maturity modes(AFIS, Shirely and Statex).
• UV Module - UV value measured by Ultra violet  reflection method. It is used to reduce the bare caution in the fabrics.

Tests and analyses the fibre characteristics of cotton in single instrument and Results are accurate to meet the international standards (USDA, ISTEK).

Measures important fibre properties like span length, strength, elongation, mic, maturity and colour.

Sample preparation for length & strength is semi automatic.

Testing Modules:

• Length and Strength Module :  Working based on optical and constant rate of elongation principle with ICC and HVI testing modes. Advanced patented mechanism incorporated in strength measuring.
• Colour and Moisture Module : Color is measured by optical reflection principle and moisture with electrical resistance method.
• Mic and Maturity Module : Mic and Maturity is measured by “Statex patented double compression air flow method”. There are two more maturity mode to compare test results with AFIS and SHIRELY maturity values.
• Trash Module (Optional): Trash parameters are measured by image process method.
